What's the consensus on "Scholar in Law"? Is that just what they call all the merit scholarships?
Yeah, they're all called "Scholar in Law."

Congrats!
thanks :D

Also - do we think a WUSTL scholarship can be leveraged against the lower t14 (NW/GULC) to get $$?
I would love to know that as well. Haven't seen anything really informative on it yet.

It definitely can but this is several months too early for negotiating.

Checking in! Applied 11/2 and was extended an offer to interview 11/4! Just requested a telephone interview and am pretty nervous, because I find them soo awkward.

Just about the exact same here. Applied 10/28, interviewed 11/4, accepted 11/5. At the risk of outing myself, I'll admit that I'm from St. Louis, so Wash. U. is really attractive. Hoping to hear about $$$ soon. If anybody comes in for a visit or interview, PM me for restaurant recommendations, etc.

I think 10 days passed between my interview and acceptance.

How bad could it possibly have been? I get the impression (clearly biased, strictly from TLS) that the interview is a perfunctory sort of thing before admission... I mean, short of cursing your interviewer's mother or explicitly telling them that you're only applying to WUSTL for scholarship negotiation, I can't imagine it having a severe impact.

Yea, it's basically just a screening to make sure you are capable of having a conversation. Unless you make any blatant verbal blunders you're fine

Innnnnnnn via email! This is my first acceptance, and Im so excited to have it come from such a friendly and warm school (through the process thus far).

It's about a week post-phone interview for me. Haven't received any financial details as of yet, but I'm still so excited to have a spot in WUSTL class of '19!

Congrats to everyone else, and stay patient!

One should probably not tell their interviewer they were excited to check out a Seahawks game.

Was offered a full-ride Scholar in Law Award today. I give all the credit to not mentioning the Seahawks in my interview. Good luck to everybody still waiting! Amazing how quickly everything moves at WUSTL.

Congrats! When were you marked complete?
Thanks so much. If I'm not mistaken it was marked complete as of 10/26.

Hey all checking in post-interview (submitted my app 11/5 and was notified of my invitation to interview no more than 3 hours afterward) and it went very well. Very relaxed, not at all like a job interview, and very pleasant. The woman I interviewed with told me that she was very impressed by my answers and she thinks that by all appearances I look like a strong candidate and "should hear something good soon".

Hoping this is an effective acceptance! It would be my first one and one of my top choices. Good luck to all those still waiting!

Is there a certain LSAT criteria that must be met in order to be called for an interview? I submitted on 11/2 and have not heard anything from WashU...it seems like most people in this forum received an interview request within a few days.

Did everyone else get this kind of positive feedback during the interview? :( Slightly concerned now that my interview didn't go well....

Nah seriously doubtful. That being said, applicants with higher scores are going to take priority. Sucks, but it is what it is.

Don't stress. There are different interviewers and they all have their own style. All are nice, but some are more complimentary or are more likely to say things like that. You'll be fine.

My interview ended with basically the same message. I was accepted a few days later and got a scholarship offer a few days after that. Hope you hear the same soon!

In the same boat right now. Submitted 11/8 and haven't heard anything about an interview. My GPA is above 75 but my LSAT is between 25 and 50...If I do get a request it will probably be later. I just want to know!

I have similar stats. I got an interview request about a week or so later than the applicants with better Lsats, and it took several days before I was admitted. Still waiting on scholly info (it's been almost a month, so you'll more than likely get good news, but you'll just have to be patient. I submitted on 9/2).

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
