Objection: speculation.
Sustained. Please stick to the facts, counselor.

Looks like last year they started giving out offers around February 20th...

Doesn't look like they claimed late January though. Obviously they missed that boat, but I'd bet they come out before they did last year.

Been looking like a few weeks. I've been CR2 since 1/18.

Get a move on, SC!

It's really case by case. From what I've heard this cycle alone, it's ranged anywhere from about 3 days to 3+weeks. I got mine 4 days after going UR2

Hey guys, I'm onto UR2. Question -- do people who are auto-deny not make it this far, or does everyone? Any waitlists/denies chime in? Acceptees? Thanks!

Well they reviewed you once and didn't deny you before passing you on to be reviewed again, so I doubt you were automatically denied.

I think the auto-admits went through all the stages really quickly or got in after CR1. I think those of us in CR2 are waiting patiently and optimistically. I'm not sure I've read about any denials yet.

Thanks!!! I figured that we are sort of on the fence candidates. Fingers crossed for both of us!

Anyone trying to apply for online housing? It said on the admitted students site that it would open February 2nd, but I see nothing and it says not yet available.

Does anyone know that whether usc matches scholarships with WUSTL or Emory?

I know nothing about Emory, but WUSTL is notoriously super generous with $$ so I would guess USC will not match (though that would be nice ><).

They definitely won't match if you don't ask them to. There's no downside to trying.

Yup, CR2 since 1/21. Dying to get an answer on this one soon. Would be a decision-making game changer for me personally. Hoping we get a big wave of news Friday.

Same boat with 11/5. I'm in the "no news is good news" camp but hopefully they'll get to us soon.

I'm now under final review? Does this mean a decision is super imminent, like in the next 24 hours? Went under 1st review a week ago (1/27) and 2nd review two days ago (2/1) and final review this morning (2/3). this feels like a good sign, but I have no idea. Haven't heard anybody mention being under "final review," just 1st and 2nd.

It will say "Decision finalized" after which they send an email usually a few hours later. The move from final review -> decision finalized has been pretty quick so far (read: same day).

Yeah, but it took me a month and a half to get there. Went complete on 12/10. I'm super optimistic though because of the quickness with which it all happened.

Was on same timeline as you for the committee reviews. Hopefully go under final review sometime today or tomorrow as well.

Ugh was really hoping after I saw those posts that I would be final review as well but alas still at CR2 1/25. Honestly though nothing could be worse than that 3 month wait between complete and CR1

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
