Not sure. I have been at application complete since last Saturday the 7th. Submitted the 3rd.
Same dates as you, JGraves, and also still at application complete.

It took me about 3 weeks until it changed from "application complete" to "under initial review"

FYI, it seems that people who have received scholarships get their deposit deadline pushed back to mid-April

Mine says May 15th, too. When were you accepted? My acceptance letter is dated February 14th.

Had anyone else been under initial review for a month? My status hasn't changed since 2/25. Is this a bad sign?

On my visit I talked to the Associate Dean of Admissions about the process and he said that the majority of decisions come after the deadline (unless you're a shoe in of course) because that week over 70% of their applications are generally received. I had the same initial reveiw date, changed to comparitive review this morning...wish me luck.

I've been admitted to UF and I'm seriously considering it.

I got an email from UF Admissions (General Admissions - Not the Law School) stating that my FL residency is under review. They requested proof of my previous employment, copy of my drivers license, voter registration, and expected locations/activities over the next few months.

Has anyone else gotten this?

I didn't expect to have any issues with residency - obviously it's a big factor for tuition though.

I left Florida for several months in 2014 to serve in AmeriCorps (took two years off between college and law school). I'm back in FL now. I'm really hoping this won't jeopardize my residency status. I still vote, have an address, pay taxes, and have a license in FL.

I think that is pretty standard. Though you should have filled it out right after you did the application.

That makes me feel a little better. I hope we both get accepted. My status was changed to comparative yesterday afternoon. I'm just tired and want this to be done with.

My application went under initial review today. Applied on 3/3 and went complete on 3/7.
Just wanted to post an update for the others that also applied late. I will post when I move onto comp review and any other updates.

For all those that have been accepted (or denied) how long were you guys under comparative review before a decision was made?

Comparative review 11/24
Decision reached 2/25

I imagine that's probably standard wait time unless you're an auto admit.

I don't really know that there is a standard with UF.

I've been on comp review since 12/8. IMO, I believe that rolling admission truly only applies to you IF your numbers qualify you for an auto admit. UF is a slow waiting game, admissions wise. Undergrad is the same way.
Congrats to everyone who has gotten in already!! :D

UF Undergrad Admissions at least told everyone they would have a decision on X Day. Much more predictable if you ask me.

Here's to finding out within the month before other deposits are due! fingers crossed since it's not like they're receiving additional applications.

I think the only difference from UF's process and other schools' is that instead of waitlisting people they just don't issue any decision for those people right away. Otherwise, their practices don't seem all that different. A lot of people talk about how great FSU's process is and how terrible UF's is, but I applied to both the same day and heard from UF much quicker.

ETA: If I was a marginal applicant, I'd much rather UF take their time with my application than hastily reject it. UF taking their time is probably not a bad thing for some people.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
