Still at complete/ur since 10/22. Total radio silence. LSAT>75 and GPA just below median. Oh well.

I am wondering if anyone like me admitted in the early Jan still has not got scholarship info yet? LSAT>median, GPA>75%. BU is one of my top choice as long as they give me good money, so I am currently anxious waiting.

I'm with you - stats slightly lower but I was admitted around the same time and haven't heard anything.zhongxiaozhui wrote:I am wondering if anyone like me admitted in the early Jan still has not got scholarship info yet? Hey, guys! I've been lurking around here for a while, thought I'd join in on the fun. I applied back in October and got accepted via phone call in early December. Just got my scholarship info, 15K/. I'm curious, how negotiable is BU regarding merit money? Reason I ask is that I got an Out of State Full Tuition from Indiana, but would much rather attend BU. Thanks for the help in advance!

In last week, scholarship information this week. $15,000/yr.
The handwritten note from the dean about my personal statement was definitely a really nice touch!

Does BU send acceptance packets or just scholly in the mail later? If so how long did it take for you to receive the initial packet? Going out of town and worried about stuff sitting on my porch...

I received a big folder with a viewbook and some other information within about a week of being accepted. it all fit in a large envelope.carolinagirl723 wrote:Does BU send acceptance packets or just scholly in the mail later? BU, why do you hate me? I have some acceptances, so radio silence from my hometown school (and parent's alma mater--and SO's alma mater--AND my SO's parents and grandparent's alma mater) really hurts.

Highly considering it, since I won't be able to make any of the other events they're doing. Any idea on when I need to RSVP by?mmlarell wrote:Anyone going to the mixer on the 18th?

Have we figured out the admit/scholly process yet? Got the phone call a week ago saying I was accepted and the packet will be in the mail shortly. Received the large envelope today but no scholly info within. Is this normal or does it mean I didn't receive any $? 3.3/167. Thanks.

I got mine in a separate letter, so don't worry about it yet.Trumpet101 wrote:Have we figured out the admit/scholly process yet? Pretty much anywhere will AFAIK. I've had good luck so far and am pushing for a little more. All comes down to what leverage you can bring to the table.Lawgirl101 wrote:Does Boston negotiate scholarships?

Accepted last fall, received scholarship $$ in January and recently withdrew. I hope that frees up a spot, as well as some $$, for those of you that are waiting! Good luck to all!
