my first post: long-time lurker. I called Admissions to ask about stipends for ASW and they told me to email the Dean, Talin Broosan. She said there is a $200 stipend available for flights and she sent me the information about how to get it. I think you have to "reserve" it ahead of time.
Also, FYI to everyone, I got a phone call admitting me to the Epstein program yesterday. Not sure how many people have heard yet but it's happening!

I asked about the March reception, but I can't imagine it wouldn't be available for both...

I was told no stipends were available for the march open house :/
Any idea how I can follow up with this? What do I say to UCLA other than “are you sure? Because people on TLS say you ARE giving stipends…” It’s a shame because UCLA is one of my top choices and I really want to visit

It could be they have a certain budget set aside for each open house and it's already been used up for March :/supersplittysplitter wrote:I was told no stipends were available for the march open house :/

Anyone within the 50% range for LSAT and GPA heard back yet? 167 and 3.78 here - accepted to USC but nothing from UCLA yet.

50% < GPA < 75% and 75% < LSAT submitted on 1/6 and haven't heard anything yet.
I feel like the last week has been really slow for all the schools I applied to...

What do you guys think about sending a "Why UCLA" essay after going complete? Went complete 2/3 but not satisfied with the lack of UCLA targeted information in my app. Is this a horrible thing to do? I really want to go, I'm OOS, my prelaw advisor hasn't been much help and i have no idea what i'm doing really.

I have been through and seen a lot of emotional things in my life but I have never sobbed so uncontrollably as right now. Just got the call im in. This is truly one of the most amazing moments for my family and I. I wish the best of luck to everyone and don't let people tell you where you should or shouldn't apply. If you feel it go for it.

Complete 1/3 Admitted 2/17 via phone. I'm an admit to the Epstein PILP Program.
