Because I'm a weirdo, I first saw the subject line "Consider Cumberland" and my mind went to Benedict Cumberbatch.twitterati wrote:Me too... that got a VICIOUS unsubscribe real fast.purple04 wrote:I just got a solicitation email from "Samford University." But they don't call you to reject you, do they? Not sure if that's by email or post though.Mack.Hambleton wrote:stanford decisions are by phone call anyway

You were right though. SLS used to send out shirts, but started the SLS moleskines for either the 2011-2012 or 2012-2013 cycle because it was too difficult to get everyone's sizes just right. That's probably why Duke gave out the XXXXXXXXLs (and then stopped).whompwhomp wrote:whoops! sorry for the misinformation.koalacity wrote:No, they don't send t-shirts, but you do get a nice moleskine. Ohhhh! Thanks for that tidbit.
Pretty sure people wouldn't mind rocking an XXXXXXL tee if it came with an SLS acceptance. It could be a fanny pack for all I care!!!

I'd totally use a bright red fanny pack every day for the next few months if it meant acceptance!whompwhomp wrote:Ohhhh! Thanks for that tidbit.Vincent wrote:You were right though. Hey guys - one less applicant for this diminished pool. Sent application withdrawal request today.
Edit: Just to clarify - did it over phone Friday, but was asked to also send e-mail.

His LSN profile looks quite up-to-date and detailed. At first I thought it couldn't be true, but now I'm not sure what to think...LetsGoMets wrote:Wait come on it's only 8 am on the West Coast now.
