Doesn't look like I'm getting a waiver from Columbia. Oh well, submitting this week.

I tried to solicit from Columbia recently and got a "wait for CRS" response. I wonder if that's just a form thing, or if it means they're actually going to do another round of CRS waivers before the Dec LSAT.

Anecdotal: one friend of mine solicited a fee waiver from Duke. Was promised to check on CRS.
He checked hundreds, if not thousands, times but still didn't get the waiver.

I think this was only the form thing.

To clarify, the email wasn't "we'll give you a waiver through CRS". It was "if you qualify, we'll give you a waiver through CRS." So no promises, obviously.

Yeah, I got the same thing from them and from NYU. Both schools later gave waivers to people with similar scores to me... but not to me. lol

Same...not feeling too great after some decisions were released last week.

Last year, some ED decisions weren't released until the end of December. In the 2012-2013 thread, some people were still waiting to hear in January. And some of those really late ED decisions were acceptances. Chill, y'all, everything is going to be okay.

I have resigned myself to that fact, and then get slightly hopeful that a few more acceptances are on the way...I just wish they would release them. the wait is the worst part.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Getting into CLS is like the hunger games. Just try and not get rejected and you're winning.

Last year, they were still admitting ED people in January (probably why they started earlier this year). They sort of trickled out.

RD applicants generally heard at the end of January last year, but there's no definitive rule. I submitted the day applications opened and heard literally nothing (no hold, no waitlist, no additional requests) until I got an email acceptance in early April.
