To those who have received scholarships, how long between admit email and scholarship email?

I think they are probably going through scholarships now, so it could be faster for more recent admits, but I was accepted in early december (so about 6 weeks ago?).

In yesterday via email (which I strangely didn't even notice until just now). I had applied ED, but they admitted me under their regular admissions. No word on any $$$ yet though.

Any GW students on here? Just wondering if GW offers generous scholarships for academic performance once you're in law school.... Many schools have scholarships you can apply for based off of your 1L grades and I wonder what the situation is at GW. If I don't get any aid up front, is there any hope of getting some in the future?

Got in a few days ago via email. Applied about 10 days ago. Low 3.8s/164 veteran.

It comes from the inatgw e-mail address.da1sy wrote:What's the email address the scholly info comes from? So us waiters can put it on a safe list
Personally, I applied 1/3, was accepted 1/10, and received the scholarship information the same day as I received my ASW login information (and the same day my prospectus came) on 1/17
I was offered 30k/year, which is enough for GW to be a viable fallback if I don't get into a T14

In last week via email, RD/164/3.78, pretty surprised! Sorry if this has been asked already, but folks who have been accepted, about how long did it take between the acceptance e-mail and receiving the admit packet? Congrats and good luck, everyone!

I applied last week on a whim. Wasn't planning on reaching this high, since I'm a super splitter (2.3-ish/167), although I'm a Computer Science major with 10 years of post undergrad exp in IT, so maybe the GPA won't kill me so much. We'll see.

this makes me feel better, guys. sincerely. i was admitted on the 17th and was starting to get worried that no email meant no aid. still haven't gotten an actual packet yet either.

I think there was only one batch of scholarship emails sent last week, so I would say no. I am also wondering what they are giving the scholarships based on. Were the people who got money ED applicants/deferred ED? Not that it has to be solely based on numbers, but I see on LSN a lot of people with relatively higher numbers who have gotten nothing yet.archimedes wrote:anyone in the batch of admits from the last week or so (seems like jan 17th was a big day) receive any scholarship info yet?

i assume scholarships have something to do with LSAT or GPA (outside of being an ED admit, which obviously means full tuition at GWU). just a guess based on all the stuff i've heard about merit scholarships in general.venus wrote: I think there was only one batch of scholarship emails sent last week, so I would say no. I got a scholarship last week, admitted RD from an ED application on 12/14. I'd guess ED applicants admitted RD get scholarships first, since the board looks at their apps before the RD apps.archimedes wrote:i assume scholarships have something to do with LSAT or GPA (outside of being an ED admit, which obviously means full tuition at GWU). just a guess based on all the stuff i've heard about merit scholarships in general.venus wrote: I think there was only one batch of scholarship emails sent last week, so I would say no. I received my scholarship offer about a week ago - I was an RD applicant and (I think) was accepted in the first round of RD admits back in December.
