CONGRATS!! So exciting. I have almost the same break-down as you (Complete 1/10, Complete 1/14, Complete 1/24, Decision made 124), but am yet to receive my packet. Do you mind if I ask where you live? I am in LA, so I dunno if it will take longer to get here. Did they send it priority mail?

Yeah, I've threatened my roommate that pain will be coming unless he texts me exactly what I have received in the mail and who it is from immediately upon arrival. I should have a nice letter from Washington and Lee and a postcard from Richmond when I get home.mehh wrote:wannabelawstudent wrote: I'm in Oklahoma with the same dates and haven't gotten it yet.

Also, I think this might be the nicest/most supportive thread in the otherwise completely douchey TLS forums... Makes me want ND Law even more!

Anyone send an LOCI in re the WL. I haven't done so, but since they don't start looking at the WL till April i wasn't in any rush. Or, do they start looking earlier than that, but they just say April?

Still waiting for my decision in the mail, but I would guess that they don't start looking until April because they first want to see how many people put down seat deposits so they can determine approximate class size.UMich11 wrote:Anyone send an LOCI in re the WL. For those on the waitlist, I just wanted to tell you about my experience last year. I wrote a LOCI right after getting the news (around this time last year) and a 2nd one on May 11. I received notice of my acceptance on May 15 via email.

Application Received E-mail 01/07/2013
Status: Decision Made
Admission Decision: Accepted. I received the decision mail today, January 28, 2013 (Monday).
Background:
2 years out of undergrad/masters.
GPA: 3.4 or something close to it. I do not have a calculator.
LSAT: 161 multiple attempts. Despite my best effort, that is the best I can do.
I do not believe I was given URM application benefits because, according to this site and every site I can find on Google, Koreans are not considered an URM for higher education admission process. So, I am going to guess that either I got in because I wrote a good, entertaining personal statement about my life or my graduate degree and some work experience gave me admission bonus points.
My Thoughts: Awesome. I initially applied because I was watching Parks and Recreation television show, and I think it was Leslie Knope who said that a mini horse named "Lil' Sebastian" received a honorary degree from Notre Dame. Apparently, the horse is a boss. Anyways, I'm glad I got in. I have lots to think about tonight.

WL as well. Super bummed. I've never written a LOCI - any tips? Should I email or mail this? The letter says they accept 25-50 students every year from the WL. Does anyone know how large the WL gets???
