Agreed. I didn't say you're reasoning is useless but that IMHO specialty rankings are useless. You want to go to the best law school that will admit you (with keeping in my COA etc.) if you want to live and practice in NYC and have the option to go to a better school for NYC employment. If cardozo is your best option by all means go there. But if youre accepted to both Cardozo and Fordham and will pay the same at both, I would not base my decision on either school's specialty ranking.aresdude wrote:Perhaps it's useless if your intent is big law.
The #1 ranked IP school in NY has more appeal to me as someone wants to do patent law, than it does for you.
Specialization shouldn't have all the weight in a person's decision, however its uncalled for to call it useless merely because it is useless to you.
