I did not receive a scholarship email but emailed the hotline with a number of questions. My last one simply asked when scholarship information would become available, as I had received offers from other schools. I got a response which stated that they would pass along my information to the scholarship committee. Hope this helps.

Debating going to the March ASW.. Its down to Berk vs GULC (sans holds and WL's). Both would be paid for through the Army/VA in full plus costs of living plus pension, so money is irrelevant. I am stuck trying to determine whether I want to live near the epicenter for my desired trade, or a place where I can bike everywhere in every weather every day. Since they are so diametrically opposed, I feel compelled to give each my fullest consideraton. SF Bay though....

Yeah, an acquaintance of mine (who is now at Vanderbilt might I add) made mention to me a while back that GULC generally only negotiates scholarship offers of schools that are higher ranked than they are. And even then it can be a bit of a toss-up. Perhaps a result of being on the backside of the T14 and believing that only another T14 is truly comparable? Idk.

No. According to the admitted students website, there is no travel subsidy (budget constraints?)

+1 I was definitely going to visit if there was a subsidy but I can't afford an extra trip right now when all my friends decided to get married this summer

Yeah... I just barely managed to scrape together enough to visit them and BU over my spring break... and by barely I mean I still don't have hotels >.> OOPS.

Anyways, anyone have and suggestions of places to stay/visit/drink at while I'm there?

I was hoping to crash on the floor with a current student... does Georgetown do that? If not, I'll probably crash with family friends in the area because I can barely afford a flight, much less a hotel!

How can we find out if they do that for march? How did they let u know about it for the first one, was it on the website?
