In via email. Never got the acceptance letter yet and status checker isn't updated either. GPA is around the median and LSAT is above 75th.

Whats everyone's thoughts on gw? If its between gw and Fordham where are the better big law chances?

Re: GW c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
Comes down to region. GW is going to be better in DC, especially for IP. Fordham is going to be better in NYC. I'd say that Fordham puts a proportionately higher number of their students into Big Law, but that's more a function of smaller class size and larger market rather than a difference in school quality.AbLSAT wrote:Whats everyone's thoughts on gw? Has anyone received scholarship info yet? I got the email today with the link to the ASW but I couldn't find anything about scholarships.

Were you even seriously considering GW with those numbers and the Stanford acceptance anyway?AmandaPB wrote:Letter today. Disappointed by the lack of information and personalization. Will withdraw soon.

Nice! Yeah, mine was just like, “congrats!” Boo. But that’s awesome for you. I have no idea about scholarships and whatnot, but you sound like a candidate for one!djkrish wrote:dude my letter had a handwritten note at the bottom with a reference to my essay. crossing my fingers that means i got some scholarship money headed my way. when are you supposed to hear about that stuff anyways?AmandaPB wrote:Letter today. Sorry about the bitchy eye roll. I just thought it was a little unfair of you to criticize a school that some people in this thread really want to go to/already attend after prolonging a withdrawal. "Congrats" is pretty lame, but they did offer you a spot, so....congrats!AmandaPB wrote:Alright.
