I like the idea in the BYU thread of getting ugly sweaters from the DI. We could do a Christmas theme.

Lol. At least we would have scholly info by then. Doubt they would revoke them over sweaters.

Hi everyone! I saw you're all talking about scholarships, so I thought I'd chime in. I got email notification yesterday from Dean Aguilar with my scholarship info. It also said that a letter will be in the mail next week. I hope you all get great news soon!

For reference:

response deadline: 4/1

I was interested in Utah when I first applied, since I'd ultimately like to end up practicing in Salt Lake. But now, I think it would be better to take the full scholarship I have at a top-14, and then just try to get a job in Utah for 2L summer. Fingers crossed I don't end up regretting it!

I am surprised that they issued scholarships early though. When I talked to financial aid, they seemed adamant that notifications were going to be sent out on the 15th and no earlier. Not that I'm complaining though. Hopefully that means I have an e-mail on the way :)

$6,000 cash for 1L, 2L, and 3L
$6,800 tuition waiver all 3 years
Stipulations: 3.35 GPA
