Does Case mail an Admitted Student Packet home? Or do they handle everything by e-mail and their admitted students website?

I've just received two emails so far, one acceptance and one scholarship. Status checker changed to "decision rendered." Nothing in the mail yet!

Long time stalker, first time poster

For those who received calls for interviews, did you submit a "Why Case Western" statement with your application?

It appears that there is no pattern to days in which Case calls for interviews or sends acceptances. Am I correct?

I really have not gotten response to my above question. Did anybody get an admitted student packet in US Mail?

Everything is via email and the Admitted Student site. I can't really recall getting anything in the mail from them. You will get separate emails about being accepted and any scholarship info. From the acceptance email:
"Within three to five business days you will be able to access our Admitted Students' Website at http://www.law.case.edu/admitted , there you will find the Statement of Procedures which outlines important deadline and requirements, and other important applicable admissions documents."

My status checker changed to decision rendered 2/21 and I have the unchecked "Scholarship Agreement Form Received" and "Transcripts" under the requirements list sections. I know that this has been the general pattern for people who have been accepted to Case.....but NO EMAIL yet. This is torture. I would really like to call my family and give them the good news, but I feel like it would be wise to wait until I get the email

Had the phone interview on Friday and now my status checker says decision rendered email 2/22.

I was really impressed with CWRU from the interview but I got into IU-B this weekend with a big scholarship, so I will probably be withdrawing form CWRU.

I was accepted via email 3 weeks ago and have not received anything via US Mail. I'm assuming if nothing has come by now, nothing will come at all.

should I be concerned that it has been 12 days since my phone interview and my application status hasn't budged from "committee review"? thought I had a decent interview.

Been placed on hold. Anyone else stuck in application limbo? Plan on submitting a LOCI but don't know what to say. Already submitted a "Why Case" with the initial application. :?

If anyone's looking for a hotel during Preview Weekend, PM me. I booked a hotel March 17-20. It's a 4 star hotel near Case. I'm not going anymore b/c I decided to go to another school but I can't get a refund on the hotel.

So case asked me for a phone interview, but they made it sound like it was more for my benefit than theirs (though I doubt that this is the case). I really dont want to do it, mostly because I don't know what I'd say. Would blowing this off keep me out?

Yes. Everyone on the forum who has rejected the phone interview has been rejected from Case. It's not hard - they just want to see if you're really interested in the school. The phone interview I had was just someone telling me about all the awesome things going on at Case - and it won me over.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
