Has anyone who has been accepted had their status checker change from "under review?" Mine hasn't.

Ouch. Though you never know... I have some very solid softs, including a Fulbright. So that could have given me a boost.

It's usually the "auto-admits" (not that there's such a thing for Berkeley, really) that get in first, right? Maybe I'll get lucky and hear back before committee review.
so I get nailed here for 1 LSAT point short here too?

haha, no worries. you're in - we're just waiting (hoping) for our happy news. Fulbright is very solid.

Does anyone know the average amount of time between going under review and a decision? Or does it vary too widely to say?

Edit -- RC/quote fail

No offense intended. I feel like my softs are competitive as anyone's (unique, strong, and many) so I am only going off the numbers.

Yeah, I asked the lady during my acceptance call.

In via phone call 3:39 pm. I asked how they planned on rolling out acceptances, she said they will only be making a few phone calls, "not hundreds", of people they are sure they want to accept, and they will be coming all week long.

SUPER NICE LADY! called on behalf of the Dean. She seriously just made my Thanksgiving . Oh and the acceptance emails will be going out around December 10th.

Congrats! Looks like later applicants are getting accepted as well. Now, I'm definitely not going anywhere without my phone this week.

Did they say around when most people would find out? (I know you said not a lot of people would find out this week..). Btw congrats dude (I think you're a guy?), you bring a lot to the TLS table. You're the Mericic of TLS basically (the stanford fb/lb haha)

Haha, thanks :). Yeah, i'm a dude. What's a Mericic of TLS mean?

And she basically said that they are going to be letting in people they are sure they want for now, the people who don't go to the additional review (?). And then in January (?) they will be doing the people who need to go to the additional (committee?) review (?). Crap, I was so excited i'm not sure if im remembering that correctly. Take it with a huge grain of salt, I could very easily be mis-remembering.

That sounds about right - I think we're all just hoping that we don't go to that "additional" (aka faculty) review.

--LinkRemoved--. Guy plays fullback and linebacker (is really good too) and has some ridiculous bio gpa. So you are the Marecic of TLS. (I'm guessing you're a stanford fan from your picture).

Hahah alright. Thanks though, that does make sense. Gah I want to hear back soon, if I get in my cycles basically over.
