I haven't actually seen it, but I received a packet and no email. I only live about two hours away though, so an email may be on its way.

Yeah, maybe they try to sync the email with the arrival of the snail mail.

It really depends on other scholarship offers. I love Notre Dame, and my Dad went there for his graduate studies, too. I'd put it around 20% right now.

I think I applied Nov. 1st, to those wondering.

I was expecting something similar to the info they had mailed me earlier, a big white envelope like the spam you get. The day I got my letter I saw no big white envelope and was super disappointed. As stated previously it's a priority mail envelope with the scholarship info in the letter.

I'm betting I get a ding/WL letter later. I pretty much begged them to by not submitting a Why ND/Clicking Atheist/being a splitter.

Notre Dame will sense my lack of devotion from a mile away, and even if they accept me, I doubt they'll be able to afford me...

FWIW, I called yesterday. The lady said my application was recently put under review and that I should have a decision in about 10 days. I was complete on 11/3.
