Maybe once the deadline passes for those just WL-> admitted there might be more offers if anyone turns down the admit?? Too lazy to read back through about what the deadline was.$1.99 wrote:yeah its most likely game over by now except for a a couple of ppl in june and august. and by couple of ppl i mean single digits

They gave me until May 26. I'm most definitely accepting though

oh well...even though I wasn't one of the lucky ones, I'm glad I was able to stress out over HLS with you guys instead of by myself.$1.99 wrote:yeah its most likely game over by now except for a a couple of ppl in june and august. and by couple of ppl i mean single digits

Well I'm still here riding it out, but I just am trying to be realistic about my chances. I don't think my sub 25% lsat score is impressing them.agathon360 wrote:It ain't over 'till it's over.

Really? How did this conversation go? Did they seem mad you called?non-trad-30plus wrote:called hls. was told that a few wl'd candidates had been offered admission already, and currently the class is FULL.
Why would they mention WLed candidates being offered admission to you?
*Note: I believe this is the case regarding the class, but it could change at any time.

I've mostly given up hope. It's okay. I'm still excited about next year.

Re: Harvard Waitlist 2010
I think Managamy changed names to CardinalRules or something to that effect. Peter North's silence doesn't really surprise me -- he realized he gave away potentially identifying information and shit himself, then had a mod simply delete his username. He came back a couple times under a slightly modified name, but I wouldn't expect him to participate on the level he used to. Also I think his foot's wedged pretty firmly in his mouth. Conveniently, that's impossible to confirm, because all of his posts are gone.agathon360 wrote:It ain't over 'till it's over.

And yeah, I have no hope for Harvard at this point. But I've met enough NYU '13ers to be pretty damn excited about attending.

Can someone else call to confirm if the class is full?
And if so, what does that mean for Waitlist folk?

It means we're out unless there is a last-minute withdrawal or deferral from someone who committed to attend as part of the c/o '13.agathon360 wrote:And if so, what does that mean for Waitlist folk?

Or unless someone who gets in off the waitlist turns down their offer ... which I doubt.blue5385 wrote:It means we're out unless there is a last-minute withdrawal or deferral from someone who committed to attend as part of the c/o '13.agathon360 wrote:And if so, what does that mean for Waitlist folk?

Don't give up hope yet. It's not over till classes begin. Also someone recently got in off Yale waitlist that gave up their Harvard seat. People may also prefer Stanford (and living in CA) to Harvard... So just wait and see. There's probably a few more later in the cycle.

+1 if I got into stanford I would seriously consider going there, so there are definetely some spots to open up.MeredithGrey wrote:Don't give up hope yet. It's not over till classes begin. Re: Harvard Waitlist 2010
I am! I'm still waitlisted at NYU and Harvard, but a huge part of me wants to just withdraw so I can focus on Michigan. I think I'll be really happy there, but there's a teensy part of me that insists upon extending this cycle even looonger.def2104 wrote:Same here! It's interesting that everyone guesses what they think will happen with Harvard's admission process. Almost no one has been correct yet whenever I read another prediction for about 6 seconds I believe it wholeheartedly lol

dutchstriker just got in at Yale and is likely going there. This means Harvard will have one more spot open. Hopefully for one of us??? "Let's be honest I mean hopefully for me"
Congrats to dutchstriker btw.

Prior to that you had a 0 in an over 200+ shot of getting in, so your odds just got infinitely better.$1.99 wrote:yes! i have a 1 in an over 200+ shot of getting dutchstriker's seat, what is that like .5%?

don't really like speculating, but I think we can probably guess that whoever is taken to fill dutchstriker's spot will have an LSAT that's 175+
