Is there anyone without an interview who has received an email today?

Has anyone been complete longer than October 13 without a JS1? Maybe I should update HLS with that stat for my 'file,' "Most Dedicated."

Does anyone have insight into why people are dinged post-JS1? It seems like at least 20% of people with JS1s are ultimately rejected, so other than really screwing up your interview (which I'm sure happens) I'd love to know what the deciding factor is for other people.

To to the people who have been waiting as long or longer than me (Nov or earlier): seems to me like the only reasonable explanation for such a long wait is that we're going on the waitlist. Thoughts?

When are we anticipating the next js2 wave? This week?

I'd imagine so. If they're weeding out all the dings for January JS1ers now, they're probably wrapping up JS2 decisions for those same people as well. And they still have another wave of dings/WLs and JS2s to do for the February JS1ers before April 1st so they don't exactly have a whole lot of time.

I'm thinking we might see some Feb. JS1s in the next JS2 wave. Looking at the spreadsheet, it seems quite a few of the last wave of JS2s had interviews throughout January, all the way down to the 28th and 29th, while it also wrapped up some of the earlier decisions. So maybe the remaining January applicants will be taken care of along with whatever February JS1s they are ready to make a decision on? Or maybe it's just wishful thinking...

Agreed. There were definitely some people accepted who had interviewed after some people held.

Ah, I should've said mid/late Feb. JS1s. LSN does show early Feb JS1ers being accepted in the first JS2 wave in March for last cycle

Doubt any JS2s today, its pretty late in the day for them to just be starting. That being said, never say never

hopefully the ding wave is over... also looking at last cycle it seems like there were 2 back-to-back ding waves so hoping this wasn't that?

I applied two cycles ago and experienced a similar delay but ended up getting dinged right at the end of the cycle. It's like they hold us until the end and then decide ding/WL.
