Is outing on tls really a thing, even if you have 3000 posts? Would they put a note in your file saying that the candidate refreshed her/his status checker 26000 times and admitted to making a pact with Satan to gain admission?

Surely they have better things to do with their time, like maybe sending us decisions.

So my mother, who is probably as anxious as I am, actually asked me if it were a bad idea to just email the admissions office and ask for a date for decisions. At the time, I said, prob not a good idea, but in my present state, it is sounding better and better...

By all means, you should bug them. If I had to guess, though, they'll probably toe the line and say that they will render all decisions by the end of April.
I don't know if I would send an email. I'm sure they're going as fast as they can. It sucks, but honestly, I don't think sending them an email is going to get you your results faster and in theory could end up negatively affecting your chances. I'm not saying that I think it would negatively affect your chances, I'm just saying that it might. You've waited this long, might as well tough it out for another 2 weeks.
If you have something to add to your app though, you could probably parlay that into a question about timing.

Fwiw, there are about 230 in the 2017 Facebook group right now. I thought Stanford admitted closer to 400. Considering they have under 50% yield, maybe they're always super cautious and then take a huge chunk off of the waitlist. Either that, or rest assured they still have many more admissions left to make. Good luck folks :)

this is from the LSN WL data thread:

Stanford: 10.8% (148 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 16 eventually admitted)

So I don't think that's the case, also it would be best to compare the Facebook group to past FB group numbers instead of total admits, but I don't have those numbers

sorry to kill dreams lol

Lol I'm not good with numbers, hence law school. But it could always be different this year!

In that case, sounds like they could use all 150 of us :D !

The second half of the admit list probably just fell behind Faye's desk or something.

(Here's hoping... )

The lack of dates is killing me. It must have been today if it's accurate, right? :?: :| I don't know why I even speculate at this point but for the sake of consistency.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
