When I was dinged my status changed from "complete" to "Application Completed."

Yes. With the date they sent the ding email to me. If you didn't get a ding email right away you might be accepted or WL'ed

I'm at "application completed" with only one date change to that. I'm not sure if it ever said anything else.

When I was dinged my status changed from "complete" to "Application Completed."

I've been at Application Completed since 12/13 with no access to Admitted Students Website and no ding/WL email, letter, or anything else.

I also interviewed in January (the 8th I think) with the dean in a group interview at the law school, and a few days later I sent him a thank-you note/LOCI-ish letter. I thought that might spark an update, but no luck.

However, it says "application completed" now. I hope it's true that the switchover indicates a decision and that the reject decision is via e-mail.

I have no idea how to "sneak into" the admitted student site before getting info. It sounds like it's somewhere in this thread but can someone save me the search?

Click on "no password." If you get an email from Georgetown, it's good (even though the information contained in the email won't work yet). If you don't get an email, you aren't in (yet)

Thanks ads. I didn't get an e mail. It said "your username and password could not be generated at this time." My 3 weeks will be up Friday so I'll make sure to check Friday evening.

"Application Completed" definitely doesn't mean a decision. I've not received an email, snail mail, or access to the admitted students site and mine has said that since 12/13

I've just checked mine and it has said 'Application Completed' since 1/5 and I've not received any info since then, either.

Congrats! I've been waitlisted at every school you have mentioned. I hope that I can follow in your footsteps and get an acceptance to Georgetown!

Congrats, did you apply PT? Did your status check say "application completed" before you found out your decision?

FWIW, my status changed to Completed 1/24 and I was just able to generate a password for the admitted students site.

Also changed. "Application Completed" 1/24, but no password generated. Waiting for my WL/Rejection email.

I applied ED...had one update from 12/22/10 to 1/4/11. I'm pretty sure it said "Application Complete" up until today and now it says "Application Completed" and I've been deferred to regular decision. No date change, though. Interesting.

I had "Application Completed" at at least one status update BEFORE this last update, so not JUST the final update is to "completed". I know I've said that a couple of times already but I honestly don't think there's a difference between "Complete" and "completed".
