I'm also in the UR 3/15 3/22 boat. Does anyone know if this is a good/bad/neutral sign?

Can't remember if I was UR 3/15 also but I'm currently UR 3/22... My numbers aren't competitive at all.

Anyone else get an email from UChicago yesterday evening that they were "accidentally" waitlisted last week and are getting an extension until 3/25 to apply for a merit scholarship?

Not sure if this means anything, but the 3/25 date limit could be a sign that (a few) decisions will be sent out the day after (this friday). I cant figure out why they would set a date if it didnt have some kind of meaning, at least for some of us. Maybe its just more U of C trickery...

I just got switched to a new date under review, 3/22. Hoping for a miracle here, I have great softs but only a 3.4 and a 169. Yeah, so its a reach, but hey, at least I'm trying, miracles do happen after all.

That would be especially funny because I believe that the most recent acceptances were during NYU's last accepted student weekend.

I was submitted 1/5, complete on 2/18. So maybe I'll finally be UR soon. Just want the cycle to end.

Does Chicago do acceptances in batches or piecemeal?

Batches, for the most part. They've seemed to have gotten smaller and smaller, though, so that might change soon.

If it is friday then im going to have a very weird Duke ASO. If rejected= Ill be moping around not wanting to talk to anybody. If accepted= Ill be so excited that I wont be paying attention to anything.

Well the decision would take longer than that, right? How long, generally speaking, has it taken to go from UR to Decision Made? I was expecting at least another month, but I haven't been paying too close attention (U of C is one of my two reaches).

Originally UR in Feb, then 3/9, and now 3/24... I'm reaching here, so the fact that I haven't been WL or rejected yet is a good thing (I think), but it would still be nice to find out one way or another.

Also UR 3/9 (first time) and now 3/24. I'd like to think this means a decision is imminent but looks like that's not necessarily the case?

I went complete on 2/18 after five weeks of being at "received." Two months seems a bit odd.

Still not UR. Maybe tomorrow?
