Nope there has been at least one other round at the end of February (looks like 27th/28th)jjcorvino wrote:These are the first dings at H this year right?

They are not. The JS1 dings are the first of their kind, though, AFAIK; the consensus seemed to be that the last round was composed of "auto-dings" (no offense to anyone who was dinged last round--I didn't look at the stats)jjcorvino wrote:These are the first dings at H this year right?

Just got the ding this morning. Was a total reach being that I'm below both 25ths, so no biggie. Glad they didn't drag it out longer.

Maybe they left a "Yale" in their PS or something.CHyde wrote:Yea...I saw that and was curious about whether or not that was an aberration or whether there was a significant sample. I know there are applicants with weaker numbers who are still in the fold. Curious as to their methodology for this particular ding wave.Pozzo wrote:Saw a 172/3.9 rejected on LSN today.CHyde wrote:Anybody above 25ths for both get rejected (I.E., 170+ & 3.7+)? Said person was posting in here earlier and has a full ride to Penn. You can probably ask them what they think.Kinch08 wrote:Maybe they left a "Yale" in their PS or something.CHyde wrote:Yea...I saw that and was curious about whether or not that was an aberration or whether there was a significant sample. Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
That person said they had a JS1 in December and didn't think it went well (i.e. fast and unspecific). Also, it's likely that we have more rejections either tomorrow or Wednesday and a JS2 wave before or on Wednesday as well (if last year's trends hold even a little).Kinch08 wrote:Maybe they left a "Yale" in their PS or something.CHyde wrote:Yea...I saw that and was curious about whether or not that was an aberration or whether there was a significant sample.
