I got moved to UR2 today on 3/21, after staying frozen on the 2/23 UR1 for a month. I actually thought NYU has forgotten about me. I guess there is still hope everyone.

Of all the T13 waitlists I could have, NYU's would seem the easiest to break. ~80-85% acceptance rate on MyLSN for people with my numbers. They just gotta take me eventually... right? RIGHT?!RParadela wrote:Seeing as how it looks like 95% of us still waiting are gonna be waitlisted... How many of you guys are planning on riding out the WL?

What does "Application In Final Stage of Review" mean in terms of when I will hear back from NYU re: fin aid?

Lmao, this reminds me of my grandfather telling me how to get a job. "Just show up to McDonald's and start sweeping the floor. And when they ask you what you're doing, just say, 'I'm working!'"Keilz wrote:Won't take no for an answer...I'm just going to show up to the first day of classRParadela wrote:Seeing as how it looks like 95% of us still waiting are gonna be waitlisted... Re: NYU c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Just noticed reading past cycle thread that NYU sent out WL decisions to folks who were UR1/2 since Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec in mid April!!!
So, as i am UR2 since 12/5, I'm expecting to receive that classic WL email by mid April. Hopefully it won't be a ding.

I plan to use the Keilz approach to the Waitlist email. I'm simply going to ..... ignore it? Yeah, that's it.
And then I'll just mail my deposit (overnight signature required, of course - I'm not an animal). That'll be the end of it.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
