Hello all. I've read the last few days worth of posts. I had my JS1 on Feb. 3rd and haven't heard anything since. She did tell me that I wouldn't hear back from them until the end of February or the first week in March. She was pretty specific. I really hope something happens soon.

Thats helpful to hear! I had my JS in the end of January and she told me I wouldn't hear for a while- which I chalk up to my KJD status and near median stats.

Went complete on 9/30 and haven't heard anything since. I'm more than a long shot but I would've thought I would have been rejected by now. Instead, just total silence. Any thoughts?

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
congrats on not being rejected yet! really though, obviously it's not good you haven't gotten a js1 yet, but at the same time there have been a few rejection waves and you're still hanging around - which means you're in the running. when you say long shot my guess means that you have low numbers, so maybe they've been waiting to see how the full applicant pool is before making further decisions on your file.jschau23 wrote:Went complete on 9/30 and haven't heard anything since. If I've been complete since 2/12 (I got the email a week later 2/19 though, which is weird) and haven't gotten a JS1, should I be worried?
I know people have been waiting longer, but I just wanted to know generally how long the usual time is between completion and JS1
Thanks

i could be wrong but i don't think a single person itt who had a complete date later than you has received a js1. so they might not have even read your application yet.

If you look on page 1, the xls shows the average time between the various stages. I would start there to get a general idea. However, it's based on data from earlier in the cycle + a holiday period, so it may not reflect how your cycle will go.ek5dn wrote:If I've been complete since 2/12 (I got the email a week later 2/19 though, which is weird) and haven't gotten a JS1, should I be worried?

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
According to the spreadsheet the average # of days between complete and JS1 is 33 days, so you get plenty of time till then. I imagine the wait gets a little shorter toward the end of the cycle but still, you've been complete for less than two weeks, it's way to early to start freaking out. Even if people more recently complete have gotten a JS1, of which i'm not sure of, being passed over int he 1st possible wave isn't doesn't reflect on your chances one way or the other.ek5dn wrote:If I've been complete since 2/12 (I got the email a week later 2/19 though, which is weird) and haven't gotten a JS1, should I be worried?

Thanks everyone for the quick responses! I guess I was just getting a bit nervous when everyone started talking about JS1s and JS2s lol
