Did anyone answer lsac app question to list other schools applying to?
Also what format is best for uploading essays? I was initially told by lSAC that files would be uploaded as JPEG but there is no such option.

Absolutely not. (1) It's none of their business. (2) I want every school to think they're #1 ... it helps avoid any YP issues.

What do you have it in right now? I make mine in word and then always save a pdf copy from that word doc as well. Then I have one I can edit and one that's a pdf if requested.

Somehow I forgot that Harvard asked this question, I actually had to go look at my submitted app to see what I said. I just listed a few peer(ish) schools I had applied to.

Where are you seeing this on the application? I just went back to LSAC and reread my app and I can't find that question. I remember answering it for Chicago but not Harvard. This is really going to bug me

You are correct, I just realized I opened the wrong .pdf entirely (to make matters worse it wasn't even the right application year ). I do not have this question on my app for Harvard this year, so I am unsure of what the above posters are referring to.

When you upload your resume onto LSAC the formatting is not changed. While the formatting on doc files is often changed when uploaded onto other sites or sent via email, this is not the case with LSAC. Just stick with rtf or doc and you will be fine. You can preview your app if you want to make sure.

If you are using Mac OS, definitely preview. I used Microsoft Office on Mac OS, but still the format was messed up, and I had to change to a Windows to adjust the format.

I did not answer the question either, and I got JS2 in the first wave, so I would not worry about this too much. I submitted in mid-September, did they add the question in some time later?

What do you have it in right now? I make mine in word and then always save a pdf copy from that word doc as well. Then I have one I can edit and one that's a pdf if requested.

I use LaTex to make my resume (really helps with the formatting), so my files are all outputted as pdf's. I then use Acrobat to save it as a doc file, and I haven't had any trouble with the formatting.

I can't remember, but isn't there an activities section or something of that nature? I wouldn't put anything in employment that wasn't actually a position I was employed in (in the traditional sense of the word).

But as far as listing activities <5 hours that is perfectly acceptable.
