For a moment I thought you might have meant the great river road. lol Which is probably about a 20 45 minute drive from downtown St. Louis and it's beautiful. There are a lot of awesome restaurants along there as well. Not really any beaches though. Small river-side beach-ish areas are to be found around the Meramec River, which is usually where people go during the summer (for camping and outdoors stuff). It's a longer drive though, usually at least an hour. But there's lots of river rafting and stuff.

Somehow, this makes me feel better. Seriously, though, it feels like it's taking forever. And all this talk about disappointing scholarship offers just makes me more nervous.
