Couldn't agree more. Also, the fact that there is no 'best practices' rule that says all schools have to decide by, say, April 15 is just absurd to me.

I'm not sure how different this cycle is compared to last year's, but last year SLS did all of their first-round admits before ASW. After that it was all just waitlists/dings.

We had ASW a week earlier this year, so I'm not quite sure how that affects things. I will tell you that we had ~190 admits at ASW, but I don't know how many people did not show up. (I didn't do ASW last year).

Thanks, Hank. Sadly information of this nature has already been shared, refuted, re-stated and defended, quoted, transcribed into poetic verse, interpreted by scholars and then re- stated again itt.

There seems to be far less activity itt today. I think most people, like me, are feeling defeated enough to give up speculation and resign ourselves to negative expectations.

I can't with the "lawadmissions.obnoxiouspromotion.bs.edu" emails. I have a heart attack just about every time. Although, this one really made me laugh.

I'm thinking the number of people who haven't heard back is astronomically high. Almost every person I spoke with at the Boalt ASW hasn't heard back yet, although one person did tell me he was waitlisted by snail mail two weeks ago.

I questioned him like three times about it. He kept nodding yeah. I'm not sure if he was lying (no idea why he'd do this)or just trying to sound like he wasn't rejected. It doesn't make sense with the lack of WL's on LSN.

Ugh, you're probably right even if the person who claimed to be wait listed wasn't being truthful.

WTF is taking them so long? Seriously, their process can't be that holistic and even if it were, how does it take 2.5 months from the app deadline to know what to do with the candidates you have? If Yale already has released the vast majority of their decisions, what is Faye's excuse?

I'm not bitter at all. Still hoping for a call. Not optimistic, though.
