If they were certain they were going to reject you, they would have already as well. Stay positive.T20hopeful89 wrote:helpplease wrote:

Just is odd because of the number of decisions that have gone out. I feel like if they were going to accept me, they would have done so already.

Aside from the 1-year-deferral and ED packages, most of the money comes out in a big rush over a couple of days. Last year it was around April 1. (Mar 30-Apr 2, if memory serves)FlowBro wrote:Any admits hear back on scolly's yet?

your lsn looks like you have a strong PI focus. was your PS focused on PI? if so they may be YPing you since NU tends to matriculate more biglaw focused people.risa wrote:I guess I am probably sounding entitled here (sorry) but I am really confused by my lack of word from NU. Given my work experience (8+ yrs) I'd have honestly thought at the beginning of this cycle that I had a better shot at NU than any other T14 schools. I have heard back now from every school but NU, Harvard & Stanford. Even H had the decency to hold me. @johann why u no love me? I really, really like NU but I feel like the chances of me being able to go there are becoming less and less as time goes on.

Yes, it was very PI-focused. I guess that could be it, though I never thought my numbers were strong enough to be YP'ed anywhere! I thought my alumni interview went very well and we talked a lot about specific clinics and programs at NU that interested me (some of which my interviewer had participated in), but that said, my application itself was not at all tailored to "Why NU." I guess you could be right, though even a hold or WL might feel better at this point than feeling like my app has been lostmrizza wrote:your lsn looks like you have a strong PI focus. was your PS focused on PI? if so they may be YPing you since NU tends to matriculate more biglaw focused people.risa wrote:I guess I am probably sounding entitled here (sorry) but I am really confused by my lack of word from NU. ETA: All that said, I feel very lucky with the options I have. I hope I don't sound ungrateful or too entitled with my venting.
Am I? I have never been quite sure what the term means but never though of myself as one! Reverse splitter is high GPA lower LSAT?rinkrat19 wrote:You're a reverse splitter. There are more high GPAs than high LSATs, so splitters are more rare than reverse splitters.
Now there's a charge.
