3.3 ish and 165. RD PT
I've e-mailed some with the 12/10 UR group and the numbers don't look good so far. IF this is a batch process, we're out.
Pretty sure these people are IN:
177/3.6
175/3.98
173/3.51
And unless I misread, all are UR 12/10. I suppose it's possible that these are YP-WLs. These are T6 numbers.
Actually, looking through the LSN graphs for the last few years, there are regularly a dozen autoadmits who get waitlisted.
Almost all of them are late-cycle retakes. If you look at the graph from this year, there's nothing at all to expect anything but an auto-admit for those people

No one can answer that question with validity. Some people *ahem* have been waiting for a month, while those with extremely high scores have tended to receive a DR with a bit more speed.
That being said, by all accounts it appears that GT is preparing for a massive DR batch soon. Your UR cycle reflects others in my situation, so I bet you'll go DR with the ED bunch.

I think it's going to be a mix of accepts/WL/rejects due to the variability among applicants. Just a guess.

It depends on where you live. They say to allow 3-5 days, but people who live close to D.C. can receive them earlier; I live in NC, went DR on 12/7 and received the envelope 12/9.

From LSN, it looks like the dings were sent out a week after the DR date for 12/1 DR. Do you think that 12/7 DR also has dings or is it mostly an accept batch?

i haven't heard about any DR 12/7 rejection emails yet. but i'm definitely scared that the same thing will happen to us that happened to the DR 12/1 group (getting rejection emails like a week after DR). i haven't gotten any snail mail yet, but i'm in toronto so i expect to wait a bit longer haha.

That's what I'm thinking too. I'm in northern VA, really close to Georgetown, so if I don't get a letter today I know what the decision is

thats odd that you're in VA and haven't got anything yet, but i thought the rejection emails going out so late for the DR 12/1 group was a mistake or a glitch or something; i didnt think it was regular practice at GULC. stay positive, sometimes the postal service works in weird ass ways haha.

did the 12/1 DR group have any accepts? It doesn't look like it from LSN, but have you guys seen or heard of any?

I assumed that it wasn't a glitch, but GU waiting until they were relatively sure that all the snail mail acceptances had reached their targets. I guess it's somehow better for them for people to be surprised by acceptances rather than not getting an email on 12/1 and therefore knowing they got in.

I dunno, I feel like there were some people from 11/30 wondering how in god's name it took 4 days for a letter to cross the Potomac, but I might have dreamt that up. It seems like they may make some marginal effort to see that everyone's information arrives around the same time.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
