Waitlisted today. Not surprised, I actually expected a flat out reject. Oh well.

If anyone is wondering, went complete 12/9 and my numbers are 171/3.7.

Snail mail. I guess a soft reject is better than a hard one :D It was expected but still feels like an Indian burn or something.

Just a plain off-white envelope with Columbia Law School in the left top corner. And it wasn't... moist. Ew.

good, so it's not a VCE and I won't start squealing in delight if I get it only to open it and find a waitlist letter inside.

I would think so, wouldn't they review held applications before going into the reserve?

my understanding is that hold is better because you're still technically in the regular applicant pool

The C in VCE is interchangeable between colored and covered.

Almost certainly. I'm sure It's the liquid that they form the paper out of.

What an interesting technique, I'm really surprised they don't feature that on their website.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
