LOL we better not be.

And I would say no...considering half the potential class is on Hold at this point.

I pulled that figure out my ass, btw, so it's not true at all lol. Tried to do some math but there's so much uncertainty and so many variables that it's not worth doing on the internets =).

But...I would bet that Columbia still has a long way to go and Harvard does not.

nyc>boston.
importance of location>importance of 1 position in rank
columbia>harvard?
...this doesn't work...need to find some way to feel better about not getting a JS1...

If I'm on hold, should I write a LOCI? I've been promoted at work, and would like to let them know, but don't know how else I would go about notifying them.

No VCE yet, but our two-year-old vomited on me this morning. Does that count?

Yes, include an updated resume with your LOCI.

I'm hoping they start looking at the hold pile again in the next couple weeks.

Accepted via email today. Complete 10/24, total silence until now.

Others have said it and I didn't believe them, but I will repeat anyway that there is still hope for those of you who have been waiting 5+ months.

Congratulations to those who got in!
Would people who got their acceptance emails today mind sharing the timestamp on the email? Your time zone would also help.
