If you don't receive an envelope this week, does that mean you're totally out of the running?

Re: Columbia 2011!
There is no sense to be made of anything. Some mail routes are staffed awesomely, some are not. I almost wish now that my mailman put out a thing for tips, because my NYU letter was stamped both 12/23 AND 12/24, and it got to me on the 24th. That's crazy fast.rs2004 wrote:both are neighborhoods in brooklynjd2014! wrote:LinzerTorte wrote:Someone said Greenpoint, and I'm Cobble Hill.jd2014! wrote:Question: do we have any sense of what areas/zip codes of BK have already received VCEs?

Although when I stopped him on the way to my parents, asked him to look for purple, and then shrieked and hugged him and danced in the street like a crazy person when he found it, hopefully that made his day a little better!
The moral of the story is, mail is unreliable. Dump 2 feet of snow on top of it and it gets worse.

Anyone know what the cycle is like if you applied in January? I only went complete on 1/20. This could get ugly for me.

Has no one received a rejection yet? Or is everyone just inferring a rejection based on the absence of the much-adored VCE?

I believe yes. Rejection or waitlist. Of course, obviously those who applied after a certain date could just be not in this batch, but there have been VCEs for January applicants already.CosmoLaw wrote:Has no one received a rejection yet? Re: Columbia 2011!
Just took a quick look at LSN. Nov and Dec applicants were getting in as late as March, so there's definitely still hope even if you don't get a VCE within the next few days.CosmoLaw wrote:Has no one received a rejection yet?
