But I’m not aware of any situation where it is appropriate for a normally adjusted person to wear a class ring that they purchased from their high school or college.

My first thought: he clearly doesn't know many Aggies. Second thought: the normally adjusted clause takes care of that.

I just got invited to have lunch at a local TTT. I have no interest in attending the school, but I do like free lunches. Would it be wrong for me the RSVP and ask what is for lunch before attending this event?
