Congrats Volforlife! Just to clarify: were you on the Reserve list or hold?
I'd also like confirmation that you meant off wait list (reserve) and not hold.

Ive been on Hold since Feb. 26

Columbia is the last school I have to hear back from. It's been extremely quiet these past few months...

+1

Went complete early December. 168/3.78. I applied to the JD/MBA program though and I'm not sure how/if that delays the process.

Wonder if we'll see more hold/waitlist movement today. Here's praying that Columbia will also want some high gpa to balance out the splitters recently admitted :|

They've been hearing for a few days now - I'm sure you're right about today. Every day I start refreshing my inbox around 3 frantically...

Good luck everyone!

I did and was admitted earlier this week. Do it. With your numbers I would think a well written loci would make you a shoo in.

Sorry for the delay. I was on hold, which I thought (mistakenly?) equaled waitlist. Also, no LOCI.

Thanks for the info vol! Yeah the hold is like a soft wait list; CLS's actual wait list is called reserve.

Also, do you remember when you were held? Thanks!

For the most recently admitted non-international people - they are still going with snail mail acceptances?

No Columbia switches to email acceptances starting in March.

Haha yeah...at least when there were VCEs we just have to freak out for a couple of minutes a day (when the mailman comes); now it's frantically refreshing the emails every afternoon :P

Held. Is it worth updating my transcript if my GPA went from a 3.71 to a 3.72, or is that a small enough difference that it doesn't matter either way?

If you were held a few weeks ago, Columbia said they'd accept transcript updates through April 8th. So although your transcript shows your GPA didn't go down, I doubt it'd be a gamechanger at this point.
Interesting. I was held on 2/26, and the letter said they would accept transcript updates through March 29th. Did they give a later date for the people who were held in March?

Yes, I was held late March and they gave me until April 8th to submit an updated transcript.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
