Haha, hopefully it provides some hope. I though I was in for a WL for sure since I hadn't heard anything in 2 months, and a ton of decisions went out in Dec. Keep the hope alive everyoner6_philly wrote:Wow that's a long time. Thanks. I will not hear for another 2 months. If ever.Knock wrote:

Once it said UR 1/10, would it ever be updated to say UR 1/20? Or it would stay at 1/10 forever?

Re: NYU 2011
Congrats! I've been UR since 10/4 ... assuming that's bad at this point, but also, assuming they'd have sent the rejection by now if it was that simple. How many of us are left from so long ago? And any thoughts on what this means?

I'm still UR from 10/22 around the medians. I might call them next week and ask if I can submit an additional essay. Anyone else doing that?PuckCU06 wrote:Congrats! I'm also UR 11/24, around medians and not sure yet if I'm going to send an LOCI. They haven't started rejecting/waitlisting yet, which is actually behind last year (based on LSN, they started rejecting right around now)...maybe this is a sign there are less super strong applicants this year and so they're holding on to borderliners for longer to compare to rest of the apps that come in?

They could be rejecting, right? There were a bunch of decisions sent on the 10th, but (as far as I can tell) no one knows if they were

That would be cool. (I have the same numbers as you, and UR 11/10). Given Chicago's recent brutality to some with great stats, though, I'm not sure.ilovemulch wrote:I'm also UR 11/24, around medians and not sure yet if I'm going to send an LOCI. This..they're probably being super conservative b/c they don't know how many more top applicants will be accepting this year compared to normal with the new Ruby schollies. Also, NYU's class size is about 2.5X bigger than Chi's..jsut trying to keep the false hope alive!
