I haven't sent anything in yet, but I will be sending an additional LOR shortly and possibily a LOCI. Has anyone written the additional essay?

I think the LOCI has to be your essay. The WL email specifically says you may turn in only ONE addition essay topic of your choosing 2 page maxJamMasterJ wrote:what essays?Lawbro wrote:I haven't sent anything in yet, but I will be sending an additional LOR shortly and possibily a LOCI. Era: I don't think a short loci email counts as an essay

You might as well wait until a few days after the seat deposit is due.JamMasterJ wrote:oh yeah. I wrote a why Penn and a resume update about a month ago. It's unlikely they'd interview you. Only a handful of people get asked to do interviews each year.Mr. Somebody wrote:I just sent in my LOCI. Does anyone know if Penn still interviews WL applicants?

Congrats gravity! Anyone else out there get this?gravityrides0 wrote:"Greetings from Penn Law – I hope all is well! I realize this is a busy period for you as your time at XXXXXX wraps up, so I will try to keep this message brief.
As you will read in another email tomorrow, the Admissions Committee anticipates making a few offers to applicants currently on our waitlist, and we expect to start that process early next week. Different members of the Committee will present various candidates, and I would like to discuss your file with the other members. Because we did receive a good number of seat deposits, we are not making very many new offers at this stage; moreover, we are focusing on applicants who are still interested in and able to enroll at Penn Law.
In short, I am writing to explore your availability to accept an offer off our waitlist at this time. Any updates since your last communication may also help as I discuss your file. Again, in light of the limited number of open spots at this time, the Committee will prioritize candidates who can make the transition work and who are willing to withdraw from any schools to which they have been admitted (only after receiving an admission offer from us, of course).
Please feel free to share your thoughts with me via email or at the number below. I look forward to hearing from you!"

If no one else got this, I'm seriously shocked. Do you think it's a good sign?? I responded, and he responded right back:
"Thank you for the prompt reply! I appreciate all of the information, and congratulations on a great end to your college career. I believe we will meet Monday afternoon, so ideally I can touch base shortly thereafter. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to ask."
