Got the email. Basically promised them my first born son, if admitted.

Doubtful I'd think, but who knows.

I haven't received an email yet either, but I have submitted 2 LOCIs and an additional LOR since beg of April, so maybe they know I'm interested.

I got the e-mail. Cornell started out as my top choice last fall but I'm really hoping I can miraculously get off the Michigan WL.

I believe the second seat deposit had to be post marked by 5/24. I would assume that next week there should be some movement in their reserve group if they haven't received second deposits from some of their admits.

Good luck to everybody waiting it out.

Well, they responded to receiving my 'Please keep me in consideration' email from a few days ago saying it'll be added to my file???

Got the same response. I applied early action and have since had to express interest 3 times. I've spent hours on LOCIs, diversity statement, visiting... And sadly, in all likelihood it will have all been done for nothing.

The chance at actually getting a job though is just too good to let slip by without a fight!

It took them five days to send a response to my last LOCI/additional letter or rec. email. :?

Well, it was five days after and I sent a short sentence. I didn't really know it'd get 'added to my file' as I'd have sent something more substantive then :/

When do they start taking people off reserve? The second deposit was May 24th, so certainly they know which applicants they need by now..

have they even activated their WL or is it still reserve?

Also, how does reserve differ from WL?
I don't think WL has been activated yet. Or even if it has, there has been no such report on TLS.

Reserve is supposed to be a little better than WL because reserve means they take one more look at apps before rendering a final decision... but oh well :(

For people who got the message off the reserve a bit back asking for update, did you previously send a LOCI?

I'm definitely mad and jelly sandwich at the people who got the message but maybe my LOCI precluded them needing a response? Wishful thinking!

I sent like 3 LOCI's and got the update. Maybe my "I'll attend no matter what" message wasn't enough for them :|

Shod I respond again even though it's identical to the email I responded to a week ago?

In bad taste to send the exact same response? I had gotten an email saying my last response was received.

I think it depends if they ever sent you a reply to anything you sent after the first email?

Yeah they emailed back and said they received it last week. No status update so prob is a glitch. I'm going to the gym and I guess I will call after lunch. It says sent to "undisclosed recipients" so weird I'm the only one who got it.
