Apologize if this has already been addressed but any insight as to whether silence portends better / worse than "held"? Thanks and good luck to those offered interviews.

I feel your pain. I also got into NYU after two weeks as well but haven't heard a peep from ANY of my other applications in the past month. I'm really starting to worry that I did something wrong.....I need to learn some patience hahamoopness wrote:Haha ok, I feel a lot better now, thanks! Is this email or postage mail notification? We're trying to get a handle on Columbia's wild inconsistencies.

Early decision deferral here - haven't checked in for a while. In fact, the deferral sent me into such a tailspin that I made a rash decision, namely taking the LSAT again (high 160s previously with >75th GPA). Just got it back and it's high 170s now.
SO - should I do a LOCI now since they have already reviewed me once or hold tight? I understand they will get my score automatically, correct?

don't know what your exact situation is, but it sounds like you have a shot at HYS if you're interested in that

Why is Columbia trying so hard to troll us this year? And it just had to be the year that I'M applying too, the level of lamesauce is astronomical.

Got an interview request a few days ago. Is this good, bad, or neutral? Wondering if most people interviewed were eventually accepted. They say its "randomly" selected but I'm hoping they wouldn't bother interviewing someone who isn't a strong candidate even if they have randomly selected people from the strong candidates. Whats the consenus?

I know there's nothing I can do at this point and it will come in due time, but I can't believe it's March and still completion pending lol...

Took me 45 days to go complete...so I guess you just have to be patient with Columbia..Hitchensian wrote:Yeah same here! I submitted mid-January. Yikes, 45 days seems so excessive. I was late-ish Jan, so roughly 35 days now. It'll come soon!bbkk wrote:Took me 45 days to go complete...so I guess you just have to be patient with Columbia..Hitchensian wrote:Yeah same here! I submitted mid-January.
