SWEEPING DECLARATION! (read in the voice of Marshall Eriksen)
Since March Madness is slowly creeping upon us, I'm willing to sponsor a class March Madness pool. Prize will be a WUSTL Law hoodie upon arriving to campus (if you choose to arrive). Could be one of the newer ones that we designed or one of the existing ones in the campus bookstore.
To simplify things we can just limit it to predicting the Final Four or Elite Eight. But it's up to you guys, if people would prefer to do a full bracket, then post your vote as a comment please! Please comment in thread if interested!
If not enough people show interest then I'll delete this comment, pretend I never posted it, and wallow in my own shame.

So did I (and many others, I'm sure), but mine seems to be a random match. They could not find someone from my area or someone who shares my interests? I am kind of confused...

But that is kind of unfortunate though..but I guess the only thing most of us will care about is employment prospects..hopefully these are people who have had some success in that area. My babysitter is apparently from MA as wellNevertheless, there are pairs that aren’t an exact match. We have a large number of volunteers who weren’t exact matches but were eager to reach-out.

I had a mini-heart attack at work thinking the email was going to be about scholarship only to be introduced to a 3L via email

I am glad (and not surprised) that they found a fellow Texan for me. I love my giant state.

Whenever I get a WUSTL email, I come straight here to report it, but this thread always beats me to it.

PS, MAC seems to be out of the office until Feb 25 -- I doubt that scholarship offers will come out while she's out of the office...
Also, I e-mailed them asking for a better match, basically, but you are right that job prospects are the most important thing.

When is this ASW? Is there another one or two after it? Will I get a decision before it? Or ever?cusenation wrote:Yay i got matched with my 1L babysitter!

That explains why she never replied to my email about the NALP report...but maybe she just chose to ignore it lol.T20hopeful89 wrote:PS, MAC seems to be out of the office until Feb 25 -- I doubt that scholarship offers will come out while she's out of the office...

I don't think MAC is in charge of schollies. She might be part of the committee but last year's scholly emails came from Janet Bolin (or Laybold now i guess)

I know nothing of these Soap people, but if that was an admissions committee, I have a feeling they'd love the Splitter-type of applicant.

Wait..you found the WUSTL NALP report??? where??? Or do you mean the NALP report for the entire class of 2012?T20hopeful89 wrote: What were you trying to find out about the NALP report? I am actually looking at it now...
I asked Clifford if WUSTL was planning on releasing their report..or publishing it somewhere..I don't have high hopes though since WUSTL (along with every T30 school minus BC) refused to disclose to LST

haha well, considering one of them is a ventriloquist, I'm sure they'd be all about some non-trads too.JayJones78 wrote:Oh I'm def not a splitter. 3.41/151 non trad AA URMwestphiladelphia wrote:JayJones78 wrote:When is this ASW? Erm yes. I blame XS20 for leading me to believe that the report was nowhere to be found.Unoriginalist wrote:
