01/10/11 - decision letter sent.

I'm pretty much at both medians. Should I be worried or excited?

Went UR in early Dec. if I recall. Submitted in Nov.

Submitted/Processing 12/20 --> UR 1/10. Pretty pleased with the quick turnaround--even if it does spell doom for me.

Since this is the first time NYU has done status updates, to my knowledge, that means we can't make too much sense out of the fact that some people have gone UR before others even after applying later? Or is that a good sign for those UR?

Generally, stalking this thread has taught me that the quicker the UR, the better the chances, but considering how insane some of the status checker activity has been, I don't know how reliable it is.

If I've been UR since 11/9/10, with no change, is my fate more or less sealed?

This thread has gotten pretty anti-climactic...I say we need another big wave of admits (preferably for sept/oct submitters!) to liven things up!!! Come on NYU, love us!

I'm a deferred ED so my 12/21 UR date pretty much means that they haven't decided how to reject me yet.

I know there haven't been Rejections/WLd, but how long after the UR date has it taken NYU to issue acceptances?
