Sup, dudes.

For anyone on the waitlist: In my latest communication with the admissions office, I learned that the adcomms won't be looking at waitlist candidates until April 15th at the earliest. This is the day when seat deposits are due for accepted students.

My guess is that anyone who was already accepted off the waitlist was either originally miscoded and should have been an admit, or URM.

Anyway, hope that helps. When I talked to the adcomms in December, they said they would start looking between March and April, so this news changes my mindset, that is, I can chill and not worry for a bit.

But honestly, I'll sweat bullets for the next 2-5 months anyway

You can ask the admissions folks anything, really. They have been nothing but honest with me everytime I've interacted with them.

If you do talk to them, can you ask what their favorite app review snacks are? And then ask how us TLS folks can deliver them a steady supply of said snacks to them? But not as a bribe, of course.

Really? When are Brooklyn and Cardozo's seat deposits due? I opened my Brooklyn acceptance package, but haven't bothered to read it BECAUSE I WANT TO GO TO FORDHAM.

There's a thread somewhere on this site that denotes all of the schools that will reimburse for travel. Unfortunately, I remember most of them saying no, added to the fact that Fordham is known for being on a tight budget. If I can find the thread I'll post a link.

Hump day! Halfway through the week. After today there's only two more days until the weekend!

This is the speech I give myself every morning, essentially saying to myself "Hey look, it's almost the weekend" even if it's only Monday. I'm not sure if that's an optimistic way of looking at it, or horribly depressing.

If you mean what I think you mean, then: ha, 5:30 AM wake up makes partying during that M-F stretch un-fun at best. Since I work entirely with people who are at least 10+ years older than myself (most are 20+), I don't know how much amusement they'd get out of stories of staying up til 3 AM "crushing beers" with my "bros" and reeking of stale booze and sin all day as a direct result.

Plus, I'm either getting old or very out of practice because I don't recover like I used to.
