But two acceptances! With the increase in TLS/lsn users we can safely say three of us will get in, and one will be me. Although I'm dropping my nyu deposit tm it's okay it'll be me. $600 to nyu is no big deal when Stanford accepts me

So my status checker now has the word "If" in big letters in the middle of the page above status and bio sections. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?!

DLS this morning too. 170/4.07. Hoping for a waitlist but I'm in class all day and can't call. Fingers crossed I guess... just glad to have a decision out there at this point.

How did you find out? Did you call to get your decision? I was DLSd Wednesday but haven't heard back, even though I am overseas.

DLS just this morning. Called and waitlisted. Wooo Hooo. Between this and the Harvard waitlist, it looks like it is gonna be a fun, nerve-racking summer for me.

Yea.
It sounds like they're giving out WLs first, similar to how they gave out admits first. Everyone left holding the bag gets a ding.

Call them and squawk about deadlines. It seems to expedite things.

I sure hope so. I keep telling myself that they started JS1s super early this year because they expect tons of waitlist movement. And it would be great to get a JS2 before second seat deposits are due elsewhere.
