if you look at the spreadsheet a bunch of folks got JS2's 12/18 and 12/19

if that's representative of only a subset, even if it's a big subset of folks, that means a bunch of JS2's went out those days and the deed is done for December -- it means we've been waiting on 12/20 and 12/23 for nothing -- it's already happened

Well, if there are no more this year it'll probably be February at earliest for me. And I initially thought waiting until December to hear would be tough

I am so excited for everyone ITT. Don't lose hope!

And for those still waiting for a JS1, keep in mind that complete to JS1 invite time is nothing to worry about (it took me five weeks to get mine!).

just about every office at Harvard is closed today - library, registrar, you name it. they're on break.

the weather is terrible. no one wants to go in today.

lastly, there is no logistical reason for them to push these out before 2014, given that they've extended the application deadline to March 1, giving them extra time.

not to be a downer, but 2014 is when it'll happen. January is still good, right ?

Oh Mort, even when you are a downer you are still pleasant.

and it took me only 3 days for mine..

(And I second the JS1 taking awhile. I think mine was about 4 weeks after I went complete.)

There have been 1 day turnarounds in past cycles. According to the spreadsheet, BurningP (whoever that is) and I are leaders in the clubhouse with 9 days between the JS1 interview and an acceptance.

Don't do that to yourself. I left my interview feeling relatively confident but by an hour later, I was convinced that I had been a stumbling, incoherent, nervous wreck. They know that we're all nervous and on edge so I'm certain they didn't hold that against you. A JS1 is a pretty huge deal

I had a dream over the weekend that I woke up to a JS1 email.

Then I actually woke up, and realized there was no JS1 email to be found

.

On the bright side, at least knowing that they're off for break now means I can stop getting my hopes up every time I check my email.
