Re: Stanford c/o 2017 (2013-2014 applicants)
They said that they would be done end of April...and last year it looks like they kept people hanging on til like April 25th (or longer if waitlisted). So besides the fact that we really want to know, SLS actually hasn't done anything other than what is expected, right? I'm just wondering what all of the "we have to know by XX" are based on.

85.
Stanford is my top choice and I'm happy to still be in the running (hypothetically), but it bothers me that they string along so many people until so late in the cycle with zero communication. It would be fine if there were a huge wave of acceptances at the end, but the vast majority of us are just waiting for rejections or waitlists. It's like they aren't even trying to show regard for their applicants.

Last year today was the day of the URM/non-traditional wave (2nd week of April, on Tuesday (I went through the entire last year thread of april cuz I have no life.))
Fingers crossed, cuz i'm URMing it up over here.

When were the last straight acceptances last year? Sorry if this has already been asked/answered, couldn't find it.love4life29 wrote:They said that they would be done end of April...and last year it looks like they kept people hanging on til like April 25th (or longer if waitlisted).
