I got my invite on 2/24 too. Last cycle is was 3/9-3/10 and then 3/28-3/29. I am hearing that it usually takes atleast a month from JS1 to JS2 so we will probably have to wait until the end of march wave. Also just out of curiosity who was your interviewer?jaketp123 wrote:I received my JS1 about 2 weeks after yours on 2/24. I am hopeful though. That's early enough that you might hear back in the next wave, but like everyone else you also have to accept that you might not hear back until the last one.dyebri wrote:hellohalo wrote:Glad there's someone in the same boat with me. I've legit only seen 1 JS2 wave since I interviewed, but we're also about done. Don't know how to feel about my chances

Dude, it's far from time to give up hope. Your chances have probably gone from like 75-25 to 50-50 or similar. Chin up.Fantasyfreak294 wrote:I had my JS1 in early December, but no JS2 news. Oh well- gave it my best effort!

I had a JS1 a few days ago and my interviewer said I would definitely hear back by April 1st, so there's that.

Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
3 of those 8 were double waves, though, so if we define "wave" as "period of 48 hours or less in which JS2's are sent out," there were actually 5 last year, which means we're right on track and that there'll be two more (one soon, one at the end of march). I very much doubt that that there'll be five more waves this year, although the two might both be doubles (for a total of four, technically).calpolisci2016 wrote:3. Will there be a wave tomorrow? Any idea about how many accepts they have sent out? About 50%, 400-500?

No way of knowing. Maybe. Could also be sometime next week. Unlikely to be any later than next Friday, IMO, although of course anything's possible and I don't really know what I'm talking about.jaketp123 wrote:

also not everybody does FB... so not sure how accurate that number is for a proxy of acceptancesCHyde wrote:Thanks, guys. It appears that only 360 people have been accepted into the Facebook group though (not sure on how many invited). Is this also on track from last year? If so, rumors of a "slow" cycle seem to be somewhat exaggerated, at least from HLS' perspective.Kinch08 wrote:3 of those 8 were double waves, though, so if we define "wave" as "period of 48 hours or less in which JS2's are sent out," there were actually 5 last year, which means we're right on track and that there'll be two more (one soon, one at the end of march). Still, this is H and they do average about 1000 acceptances. Even with a generous proxy assessment we should still expect a few hundred more acceptances in the next 21 daysjpark86 wrote:also not everybody does FB... so not sure how accurate that number is for a proxy of acceptancesCHyde wrote:Thanks, guys. Also do WL come out in waves as well or is it one big dump at the end of March?

This is the most inspirational thing I've read in weeks. I'm going to use it to convince myself that a large number of acceptances coming = great chances for me, so no need to stress.Dr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote: Still, this is H and they do average about 1000 acceptances.
