Anyone else losing hope that they'll ever hear from Harvard before April. Each day that passss I commit myself to having to wait for April 1st to get any news

Yup I had it first week of January

Glad there's someone in the same boat with me. Good luck to all of us. We made our efforts. Now it's their turn to decide. So just keep yourself busy and let the decision come when it comes.

I had mine the first week of February. Is there anyone here that had one the same time as me and do you think we'll hear back in the next wave

I received my JS1 about 2 weeks after yours on 2/24. I am hopeful though. Aren't there only a few JS2 waves left?

I got my invite on 2/24 too. Last cycle is was 3/9-3/10 and then 3/28-3/29. I am hearing that it usually takes atleast a month from JS1 to JS2 so we will probably have to wait until the end of march wave. Also just out of curiosity who was your interviewer?

That's early enough that you might hear back in the next wave, but like everyone else you also have to accept that you might not hear back until the last one.

Dude, it's far from time to give up hope. Your chances have probably gone from like 75-25 to 50-50 or similar. Chin up.

3 of those 8 were double waves, though, so if we define "wave" as "period of 48 hours or less in which JS2's are sent out," there were actually 5 last year, which means we're right on track and that there'll be two more (one soon, one at the end of march). I very much doubt that that there'll be five more waves this year, although the two might both be doubles (for a total of four, technically).

Any idea about how many accepts they have sent out? About 50%, 400-500?

No way of knowing. Maybe. Could also be sometime next week. Unlikely to be any later than next Friday, IMO, although of course anything's possible and I don't really know what I'm talking about.

Thanks, guys. It appears that only 360 people have been accepted into the Facebook group though (not sure on how many invited). Is this also on track from last year? If so, rumors of a "slow" cycle seem to be somewhat exaggerated, at least from HLS' perspective.

Don't give up hope! There was also a wave of rejections around feb 28 (if i remember correctly) and you weren't included in that!

This is the most inspirational thing I've read in weeks. I'm going to use it to convince myself that a large number of acceptances coming = great chances for me, so no need to stress.
