think it's notable that most of the late waiters who ultimately were accepted had several UR dates (at least one additional beyond the standard UR2). to me, this suggests the need to undergo at least one more UR change (as a late waiter) before you can get accepted. I think not getting a date change is probably a sign that you're waitlisted. My WL from two years ago is the only non-acceptance data point at my range for NYU, and I'm about to be WL again. I'm really fucking with the model herechargers21 wrote:LSN gave me a 72% of getting in and a 0% of denial. I'm still at UR1 from November. If I get rejected I will be the only person in the last 5 years with my stats to do so. Yay! P.s. I am the only waitlist from the last 5 cycles with my stats at Cornell, so take that as you willktgjoon wrote:honestly same though ... only us november/ october waiters know what it's truly like to yearn for the sweet release of application deathjessmeesh wrote:SybillAnnDorsett wrote:think it's notable that most of the late waiters who ultimately were accepted had several UR dates (at least one additional beyond the standard UR2). to me, this suggests the need to undergo at least one more UR change (as a late waiter) before you can get accepted. So I went UR yesterday (3/15) and I checked again today and my UR date is 3/16...mangoluvr wrote:Yeah it changed to 3/15 within the past hour or two.mtf612 wrote:Did your UR date change? I wasn't checking the status checker in January, so I'm not sure if this is UR2 or UR3. I sent in a Why NYU last Wednesday.
I sent it to law.moreinfo@nyu.edu and got a response the next day.

Huh. Weird. Seems likely that it is good news for you! NYU remains my top choice, and my numbers are strong for the school, so I'm sitting here worried that something is wrong with my app.mangoluvr wrote:So I went UR yesterday (3/15) and I checked again today and my UR date is 3/16...mangoluvr wrote:Yeah it changed to 3/15 within the past hour or two.mtf612 wrote:Did your UR date change? Don't be so sure, Ash. Noticed you applied early in the cycle and had a UR date in January... you never know! nothing really screams "WL" or "ding" so we should have hope for you!ashrice13 wrote:It's pretty clear that I am WL or dinged. Can it just happen already?

Re: NYU c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
this is highly anecdotal but it looks like people with high gpas but lower/median LSATs are at UR2 later than other folks. could mean that they have segmented the apps and have looked at those more recently, and they'll maybe go to UR3/DLS earlier. This is just from me looking at the spreadsheet lol

MikeSpivey wrote:Well, depends. NYU has a ton more to give it seems. And for the others, while it varies, I agree 25% remaining sounds about right. But in aggregate that is a lot of offers.Wallyplatypus wrote:Hi Spivey!
I wanted to ask if the T6 schools have finished giving out the majority of the offers (75%) and if I should start to adjust my expectations?
