That's against LSAC policy, so you might be able to get them to budge on that.jdpitt wrote:Just got the admit email.

I'm also still waiting. No status checker change nor any email. Shall we expect a deluge of decisions tomorrow?

Probably because they want to sucker people into paying full sticker. Just for the record admissions I would be willing to do this!jdpitt wrote:Just got the admit email.

"Law schools that have not made institutional financial aid awards (for funds within the control of the law school) by April 1, should not require a nonrefundable financial commitment from applicants who have submitted timely financial aid applications until after such awards are made."

From admissions - anyone who applied by feb 1 and took the LSAT before Feb 2013 got a decision by April 30th, but anyone who applied later and/or took the February 2013 LSAT should hear within the next 2 weeks

"Should not require" appears to be a requirement to me. When mentioning this to them, it might be good to cite this in an email as respectfully as possible.jdpitt wrote:Thanks for finding that jxander but is that not a recommendation and not a requirement?

LSN shows a bunch of people waiting for an initial decision who applied much earlier, like me.jvincent11 wrote:From admissions - anyone who applied by feb 1 and took the LSAT before Feb 2013 got a decision by April 30th, but anyone who applied later and/or took the February 2013 LSAT should hear within the next 2 weeks

Re: Cornell c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Blergh, I applied in March and took the February LSAT, but whenever I talked to them, they said they waived my deadline and counted me in the regular pile and that I'd be hearing back by the end of April. No such luck.jvincent11 wrote:From admissions - anyone who applied by feb 1 and took the LSAT before Feb 2013 got a decision by April 30th, but anyone who applied later and/or took the February 2013 LSAT should hear within the next 2 weeks

Applied 1/24. Dec LSAT. Still nothing. Re: Cornell c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Just got put on the Reserve list. Wasn't really expecting that. Median or slightly above LSAT score and well above 75th percentile GPA. Oh well. Might wait out the reserve, but haven't decided yet. Anyone know if scholarship amounts are significantly lower for those pulled off of the reserve list?

Admitted yesterday as well. Looked up the thing regarding 6th May deadline, if you have applied for financial aid your deadline is changed to either the deadline (May 6th) of the date one week after you get your financial aid respons whichever is later.
Congrats all new admits!
