Hi there - my decision was rendered on 2/1, and I received my acceptance package on 2/3. I live on the East Coast too, so I'm surprised it came so quickly. Good luck!!cogito2010 wrote:Decision rendered on 2/17! Very excited - and hopeful. How long did it take for individuals to receive their letters?

Re: Loyola LA - Has anyone heard back?
I just don't get it...complete 12/18 (3.48/164)...and No word. People who applied later and have lower stats have already been accepted. Normally I'm patient and figure I'll hear eventually, but I'm flying to LA this weekend to see Pepperdine and USD and would like to know if I should bother going by Loyola or if its a waste of time. Can I call them and let them know this?

In 2/19, applied 1/8, no word on any scholarship money, which, from reading other people's posts basically means I am not getting a scholly.

What other offers did you use for leverage? Feel free to PM. Any other advice would be welcome, I'm going to try to negotiate as well.MixedGirl2009 wrote:+1, tried negotiating with them and they responded promptly with a nope so will be withdrawing pretty soon!!Antigone wrote:In 2/19, applied 1/8, no word on any scholarship money, which, from reading other people's posts basically means I am not getting a scholly.

When you log onto the status check section, the entire page will have changed from a status check page to notification that your decision has been mailed. You really can't miss it when it changes as it is totally different.

Pretty sweet data from the CA bar. Loyola owns Southern California

Re: Loyola LA - Has anyone heard back?
Congrats! I got almost the same scholarship offer and was wondering the same thing. The offer makes Loyola quite enticing, but more money may really help to swing me away from higher ranked schools in the area. Do they care about what other schools you have gotten into and/or how much money other schools have offered you (even if the offer is less but from a higher ranked school)?Nat1018 wrote:In with 66k! Thanks for any info that you guys and gals can provide and good luck to everyone still waiting to hear back!

I wrote them to negotiate and they added me to some list for re-review for aid at the end of the cycle.deem wrote:Congrats! I got almost the same scholarship offer and was wondering the same thing.
