I haven't gotten anything either. I'm thinking best case, we get deferred, although I didn't apply til Nov. 30th, so I guess there's hope that they do them in order received. Not looking good though.

The deadline for going complete was 12/1, did you go complete 11/30, or later? Because if later you might not be considered ED.brindle wrote:I haven't gotten anything either. Your chances are looking better than mine. I'm hoping my WE will factor in. Good luck to all!
I went complete on 11/16.

Re: Northwestern 2010
I emailed them today with that very question and they assured me I was being considered with the other ED candidates, which at this point seems like pretty bad news. Congrats though to those of you who got in. At least I'm not the only one, so thanks caligirl.

Re: Northwestern 2010
Just got an email telling me to check my status checker for my decision letter. I don't see any difference in the checker.
Edit - okay, they must have updated. Now I see it.

Strangely, my complete date updated to 12/18 today....I was originally complete on 11/3. I'm an RD applicant, so dunno what this means. Anyone else see such a change?

Re: Northwestern 2010
Nope that can't be, cos my interview was in early October and I know for a fact that my interviewer sent in his stuff soon after it. Anyway gotta chalk it up as another one of 'em status checker mysteries I guess.finalaspects wrote:maybe your interviewer finally sent something in? mines been complete since late Oct... no change even after my interview...ankit wrote:Strangely, my complete date updated to 12/18 today....I was originally complete on 11/3. Re: Northwestern 2010
A similar thing happened to me. I was complete 11/18, and then my complete date updated to 12/16 last Friday. Like you, I know that all my materials--including my interview information--were in by the original complete date, so I don't know what the change means.ankit wrote:Strangely, my complete date updated to 12/18 today....I was originally complete on 11/3. I just sent out my withdrawals and UChicago sent me back confirming, and they knew I was going to Northwestern without me telling. I guess they sent out their ED lists pretty early.

Interesting. I did mine this morning as well, noting an early decision contract at "another institution." Got very cordial emails back from Virginia and Illinois, but Loyola Chicago emailed me asking for the specific school.Desert Fox wrote:I just sent out my withdrawals and UChicago sent me back confirming, and they knew I was going to Northwestern without me telling. Chicago's email was nice. They wished me luck. Same for Virgina and Illinois.YellowCake wrote:Interesting. I did mine this morning as well, noting an early decision contract at "another institution." Is Anyone else scared to withdraw before getting hard copy, official acceptance? After their MBA mix up, I want to be 100 percent positive this is for real (it seems too good to be true!)

Honestly, that made me feel better. No way they would let that happen twice.hey123 wrote:Is Anyone else scared to withdraw before getting hard copy, official acceptance? After their MBA mix up, I want to be 100 percent positive this is for real (it seems too good to be true!)

I don't think you get a hard-copy acceptance...hey123 wrote:Is Anyone else scared to withdraw before getting hard copy, official acceptance? After their MBA mix up, I want to be 100 percent positive this is for real (it seems too good to be true!)

Re: Northwestern 2010
I don't recall ever receiving a hard copy letter from NU. In fact, I don't recall them sending any correspondence. In the rare event that this does turn out to be a mix up, you will likely be sucessful in suing for your reliance interest under the theory of promissory estoppel. I'll have to go back and revisit the Kellogg scare. If you want to withdraw from other institutions right away, just shoot Johann an email (that's who I got my email from last year) confirming the legitimacy of the letter itself.hey123 wrote:Is Anyone else scared to withdraw before getting hard copy, official acceptance? You download one off the status checker.rayiner wrote:I don't think you get a hard-copy acceptance...hey123 wrote:Is Anyone else scared to withdraw before getting hard copy, official acceptance?
