The only explanation is that they forgot that they are supposed to admit people.

Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt since I think they had a snowstorm or something, but then again my application has been complete since October, so my sympathy is lacking.HenryHankPalmer wrote:The only explanation is that they forgot that they are supposed to admit people.

It’s over 2 months since my interview now. Seems this “expedite” thing just didn’t happen for most of us. Glad I had a few waiver. I would be really annoyed if I paid ~100 bucks lol

At what point is it appropriate to send LOCI without an actual decision? I know I'm getting impatient, but would reaching out be justified after waiting so long?

I don't think it needs to be a LOCI per se, but perhaps sending in a short "Why Vanderbilt" would be in order.robin acrewood wrote:At what point is it appropriate to send LOCI without an actual decision? I know I'm getting impatient, but would reaching out be justified after waiting so long?

FWIW I sent one to UVA even though I don't have a decision after 3 months of being under review. I know usually people on TLS say to wait until you're waitlisted, but I felt like I had nothing to lose at this point and I wouldn't ride out a waitlist so I just did the damn thing. lol.robin acrewood wrote:At what point is it appropriate to send LOCI without an actual decision? I submitted a Why Vanderbilt with my application in addition to interviewing, so it seems like a LOCI is my only other option outside of flying to Nashville.ChutzpahSaxa15 wrote:I don't think it needs to be a LOCI per se, but perhaps sending in a short "Why Vanderbilt" would be in order.robin acrewood wrote:At what point is it appropriate to send LOCI without an actual decision? Yeah, I'm not sure if I can ride the WL at Vanderbilt but I would most likely go if admitted... If anything a LOCI will make them actually look at my application again at the very least.Ntp73821 wrote:FWIW I sent one to UVA even though I don't have a decision after 3 months of being under review.
